Nu-Wave's 'Classic' 6 ft. platform is made of 5/8-in. thick, 7-ply exterior-grade plywood for a safe and secure work environment. The plywood's edges are also completely surrounded by metal banding so there's no need for steel bracing on the underside to support an inferior plywood. The protective metal banding also extends the life the plywood's edges during use.
